International Islamic University Malaysia

APPOINTMENT OF THIRD PARTY ADMINISTRATOR FOR OUTPATIENT SERVICES (PANEL CLINICS) 2016 FOR IIUM STAFF AND THEIR ELIGIBLE DEPENDENTS

Duration : 1st January 2016 until 31st December 2016
Third Party Administrator (TPA) : PM Care Sdn Bhd.

We wish to inform all IIUM staff that the University has agreed to appoint PMCare Sdn. Bhd. as our TPA for year 2016 replacing CompuMed Sdn. Bhd. During this transition period we anticipate many queries and confusion. While stabilizing the process with PMCare, staff may need to pay during their visits to the panel clinics and any reimbursement of claims can be directly managed by Office of the Health and Wellness Centre.

TPA will mainly be responsible for the following :

1. Reimbursement claims of staff i.e. at RM45 per head per visit at non-panel clinics

2. Reimbursement claims of staff I.e. RM45 or 30% per head per visit at specialist

clinics or hospitals for outpatient treatment

3. Payment process to panel clinics

IIUM is currently transferring data of staff and their eligible dependents from HURIS to PMCare Sdn. Bhd. data system. We would highly appreciate if all IIUM staff can update their personal details and their eligible dependents (only children below 24 years of age and still pursuing undergraduate studies) in the HURIS. Failure to update the above data will cause panel clinics to reject treatment or you would have to pay for the visits.

We hope services rendered this year will improve compared to the past years. We welcome any positive comments and queries from all staff. Staff in-charge of outpatient services is Sr. Nur Aimi Md. Ramlan ext. 3272.

Your cooperation is highly appreciated.

Thank you. Wassalam.
